Model overview based on user reviews
The OPPO Reno5 Lite is a mid-range smartphone that offers a balanced mix of features and performance. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, expandable via microSD, making it suitable for multitasking and storage needs. The phone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, praised for its brightness and visibility in sunlight, although some users wish for a higher refresh rate than 60Hz. The camera system is a highlight, with a 48 MP main sensor and various modes that enhance photography and video capabilities, including night mode and dual-view video. Users appreciate the fast charging capability with a 30W charger, ensuring quick power-ups. However, some users report issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and geolocation accuracy. The design is sleek and lightweight, with a comfortable grip, although the glossy back is prone to scratches. Overall, the OPPO Reno5 Lite is recommended for its good performance, camera quality, and battery life, making it a solid choice for everyday use.

Great phone for the average consumer
6 November 2022
An excellent smartphone for everyday life, and the photos are good enough, no bugs, updates are coming. Compared to Xiaomi, Color OS is one of the best skins here, it can be easily customized. The screen is bright and without strong shim. However, I took it for myself in 2021 when it cost 10k, for this price of norms, but not higher.

For those who are looking for a phone with excellent characteristics and at an adequate price - TOP!
7 January 2022
I bought the Oppo Reno 5 lite smartphone a couple of weeks ago. I was very pleased as I switched from the Xiaomi 11 lite (in comparison - night and day). Not only is it cheaper, but the optimization and power of the smartphone are top-notch. My former Xiaomi model had a huge issue. After 2 months of use, pop-up messages started appearing that the cache memory was full and needed constant cleaning. I struggled for a long time as the fake cache cleaning suggested by the phone only solved the issue for half an hour, and the phone continued living its own life. Regarding the OPPO model, I immediately noticed the excellent stabilization of the main camera (48+8+2+2 MP) with no blurring. Great contrast and color reproduction on both the main and front cameras. In general, for anyone looking for a relatively affordable smartphone with a good camera, I recommend it! The processor is also quite powerful, Mediatek P95. I can say right away that it handles all programs and games at maximum settings without overheating. An excellent alternative to Snapdragon processors, which often overheat, making it a major problem. A separate topic is the RAM+ technology. Not only does the phone already come with 8 GB of RAM, but it can also be expanded to 13 GB, further increasing the smartphone's performance. And the cherry on top is that the smartphone has 2 SIM card slots and one additional slot for a flash drive (I plan to expand the memory further for myself). You can install up to 256GB.

great model, love it

I bought at a discount, fell for the price and have no regrets. 8GB of RAM make the phone a rocket, it didn’t fail during use, and the RAM can also be expanded up to 13 due to permanent memory. Camera is perfect for the price

All inclusive

The successor to OPPO Reno4 Lite received a minimum of changes both externally and internally and took a place in the middle segment, where the competition is oh so great. Does he get along with her? Of course, there are models with better specifications and a lower price tag, but the OPPO smartphone does not graze the back. First of all, this is a fairly light device with a body thickness of 7.8 mm and a weight of 172 g. But the manufacturer managed to equip it with everything you need: a USB-C port for charging, a 3-in-1 slot for two SIM cards and a microSD memory card, as well as 3.5 mm headphone jack. They didn’t skimp on the packaging of the device, putting in the box a transparent case, a charger (and a fast one with a power of 30 W), and even headphones, which is a rarity these days. In addition, a protective film is immediately pasted on the screen. There are two gradient colours to choose from — purple and black.

All the same Mediatek Helio P95

Unfortunately, little has changed in terms of “hardware”, and OPPO Reno5 Lite, like its predecessor, still uses the Mediatek Helio P95 processor. This is a chip for mid-range devices, which does not show the best results in terms of performance. In everyday tasks, the interface works quite smoothly, for which it is worth saying “thank you” to the ColorOS shell, but for modern games, of course, it is better to look for a model with a more powerful platform. But the amount of memory is enough — 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in, plus the aforementioned support for memory cards. Also, the strength of the smartphone is battery life, which is responsible for the battery capacity of 4310 mAh. One battery charge lasts for one and a half to two days, after which VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging will come to the rescue. There is a mode of ultra-economical power consumption, in which only 5% of the charge is enough for calls for more than 1 hour, and advanced night charging, which does not allow overcharging and extends battery life.

Camera modes

Smartphone cameras, in general, correspond to the average level. Ahead is a 32 MP front camera, for which a round cutout in the display is intended, and at the back there is a main camera with four modules: a 48 MP sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two additional 2 MP sensors for macro and portrait shots. There are problems with detailing, but the camera, first of all, is interesting for its modes. AI Colour portrait video mode turns the background black and white to highlight the person in the frame with bright colours, monochrome video allows you to select one colour from the palette and emphasize it, and the function of recording video from two angles shows what is happening in front of the front and rear cameras at the same time . In addition, there is a dynamic bokeh mode and a Night Flare portrait mode for shots.

What else

The equipment of the model also includes an NFC chip, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, a single speaker (unfortunately, not stereo), a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a small “chin”. The refresh rate is standard — 60 Hz, although, of course, I would like 90 Hz, which some competitors have with the same price tag. But DC Dimming is supported to reduce flicker at low brightness. To sum up, OPPO Reno5 Lite is a good mid-ranger, more suitable for young people who will appreciate the gradient colours, good battery life, fast charging and camera modes for photos and videos for social networks.
