The electronic book of the ONYX trademark can be attributed to advanced solutions. It provides a large 10.3-inch screen, convenient when working with large-format documents, reading electronic newspapers and magazines. The display is based on E Ink Carta technology, so it is safe for the eyes, has a high resolution of 1872x1404 pixels, has a flicker-free backlight and touch control.
Interestingly, the book reader received 2 sensory layers at once - capacitive (with support for multi-touch touches) and induction. The latter is required to work with the bundled stylus, which in turn makes it possible to take notes and sketches in documents and applications. The ONYX BOOX Note Air e-reader is based on an 8-core Qualcomm engine, which is paired with 3 GB of RAM.
Such a "stuffing" should be enough both to work with "heavy" files, including PDF and DjVu, and to ensure high performance within the Android 10.0 OS environment as a whole and individual additionally installed applications. "Reader" opens various text files and audio books, has a built-in voice recorder, speakers and an audio player. Using Wi-Fi, you can easily connect to the Internet, use the browser and network services. Among other chips, it is worth highlighting a 3000 mAh battery, the presence of USB-C and Bluetooth v 5.0, as well as a case in the package.
