Nokia Streaming Box 8000

Debuted in the summer of 2021, the Nokia TV set-top box is a solution at the junction of the middle and advanced class. The model has been certified by Google, thanks to which it offers users the official Android TV 10 software, convenient voice control capabilities (interaction with the Google Assistant voice assistant) and easy video casting to TV directly from smartphones or other mobile gadgets (Chromecast function).

The Nokia Streaming Box 8000 media player provides video playback with UltraHD 4K resolution and frame rates up to 60 fps. And with no less high-quality playback of audio tracks, support for modern Dolby Digital Plus codecs is designed to help. The “hardware” is quite standard: a 4-core Amlogic S905X3 processor is complemented by 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. For Internet access, a 100 Mbps LAN port and a Wi-Fi 4 module are offered. In addition, there is Bluetooth (for connecting a keyboard or game controller), as well as several USBs, including USB-C. The package includes a fairly large remote control with an abundance of keys and the presence of quick launch buttons for popular services — Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video.
