Without any doubt, the design of the smartphone in comparison with the previous model has become even better. The design uses very high-quality plastic, metal, a `mirror` surface is used for the cover of the rotary display (by the way, a special case-pouch is supplied with the smartphone to protect the mirror surface). It is not at all surprising for such a price that the case fits almost perfectly - there can be no talk of any backlash and assembly flaws, which are sometimes characteristic of low-cost phones.
In fact, the Nokia N93i has two keyboards at once - one for managing `telephone` functions and the second for working with camera functions. This is very convenient, because with a smartphone with so many useful features, they were separated very well, in order to avoid confusion.
There is nothing surprising that the smartphone is all `directed to the future`. Most of our users have only just heard about 3G networks, and N93i, in addition to the usual GSM 900/1800/1900, also supports UMTS 2100. Hopefully, this standard will soon reach our mass consumer.
Since the smartphone is equipped with a Wi-Fi adapter, with the right software, it can be used as a VoIP phone, fortunately, there are more and more Wi-Fi networks available now.
If we talk about the memory of Nokia N93i, it is relatively small for a smartphone - 50 megabytes. The fact is that this model has a slot for miniSD-cards. The kit comes with a 1 GB card, and if you search carefully in retail outlets, you can find something even more voluminous. For example, according to rumors, Kingston is preparing cards for 8 GB and more.

Camera:

The smartphone has two cameras. One is intended for video communication in 3G networks and therefore does not deserve special attention due to its relative simplicity. The second camera is one of the main advantages of the N93i, with a resolution of 3.2 megapixels.
In fact, 3.2 megapixels is not so much nowadays. For example, Nokia N95 has five such megapixels. However, most owners of phones and smartphones can only dream of such a thing.
The N93i lens is closed with a special cover, for the removal of which no automation is provided. Nice - the device uses optics from Carl Zeiss. Among other things, it provides excellent 3x optical zoom. The rotating display is used as a viewfinder.
To control the zoom and the actual shooting on the side panel there is a special rotary key. How convenient it is - each buyer can decide for himself.
Focus is carried out as in conventional cameras - first you can sink the key for the actual focus, then press it all the way - an already prepared picture will be taken.
In video mode, Nokia N93i can shoot at resolutions up to 640x480 - normally this is the resolution of an American analogue TV that supports NTSC format. Shooting speed up to 30 frames per second allows you to shoot very high-quality video - in contrast to the "younger" cameras with a maximum of 15 frames, there are practically no jerks when the lens or object is quickly shifted.

Applications:

As you know, Nokia N93i is based on the operating system Symbian version 9.1. Of course, this is not the best option (manufacturers are already using version 9.2 with might and main), but its capabilities are quite enough to work with a wide variety of software applications.
Tools for working with media content are quite worthy of the level of a smartphone. However, as in any smartphone in general, sometimes the execution of programs can slow down a little, not too noticeably.
Of the strengths of the N93i, it is worth noting the ability to work with various office files - .xls, .doc, Power Point presentations and even PDF format. Even files of large volumes can be read by a smartphone without any problems - freezes and delays.
The smartphone's Bluetooth does not support the A2DP protocol, so you do not need a wireless stereo headset to work with media content.
