Nice and very convenient phone! But now they can be better
17 July 2021
The phone is 13 years old and sometimes needed
Described everything below in + and -
Everything, even despite being manufactured in October 2008, it is still great! Even the camera takes decent photos compared to modern models, which barely photograph anything, especially the budget ones. It withstands impacts, and as a result, the back cover got scratched, but that's not a problem :) Everything would be fine except for the downside: (see in the disadvantages)
Memory - this is really serious... less than 80MB is not enough, and even then, the phone is almost empty. I inserted the memory card, but then decided to pull it out, but it won’t pull out and damaged it. There are no more cons.

good model, like it

For men's - too "playful", entertaining, too much excess for a business person (husband's opinion).
For women's - a bit large, but easily found in a big bag ;)
But it's a cool gadget, helps pass the time in traffic or while waiting :)
If it glitched less, you'd quickly get used to the rest.
Beautiful device, no complaints about the set of functions, memory, music, photos - couldn't be better. Very convenient daily planner with "reminders" on the desktop. I've been using it for a year and a half, and I'm not planning to change it anytime soon.
1) Glitches - often refuses to "pick up the phone", sometimes just freezes and the only thing that helps is to remove the battery.
2) Very delicate display, gets scratched by a stylus or long nails. Children played games with the stylus for two days - noticeable scratches remained.
3) If you carry it in a case (as you have to due to point 2), it's inconvenient to use - you can't take it out or press it with one hand (e.g., in the car).
4) A bit too large and heavy (especially for a small woman's handbag, and it doesn't fit in every pocket).
5) And now the lock button is starting to stick.

A flashy and "somewhat raw" in terms of sensor features device.

Also, it's quite "slippery" and constantly tries to slip out of your hands. It would be nice to add rubberized elements on the sides at the front. The video quality leaves much to be desired. In short, the product is designed for office boys, couch-potato youth, and those who listen to MP3s. It's not bad for students, suitable for use in classrooms and public transport. For busy (no time for tinkering) and energetic (slippery and glitchy) people, it's not very practical. Personally, I regret swapping it for the N95.
Good performance. Fast. Long battery life. Easy to control. Decent camera (some Nokias have better). Decent sound. The "voice control" feature works very well.
1. Approximately 3-4 times a week, without warning, the device is visited by Glitch Nokievich and engages in something, completely ignoring the desires of the phone owner. It's necessary to "kick it out" by turning it off and on. 2. Completely unsuitable for work in cold conditions. When exposed for 10-15 minutes at temperatures of 0 and below, glitches are guaranteed (repeatedly tested during hunting. In such conditions, it should be carried in the breast pocket (for men) or in the bra (for women). 3. In bright sunlight, the screen's readability i

Frame:
  • The Nokia 5800 is the company's first all-touch phone and is part of the XpressMusic series. The case itself is made entirely of plastic. There are no complaints about the build quality, it does not creak when compressed, there are no backlashes
  • On the front side there is a 3.2-inch widescreen touch display with a resolution of 360x640 pixels. Above it in the right corner there is a camera for videotelephony. To the left of it there is a hole for the speaker and a proximity sensor that automatically locks the screen during a call. Under the display there are only three buttons for receiving / rejecting a call and entering the main menu. All other control is carried out through the touch screen with a finger or stylus
  • On the right side at the top is a paired volume key, below there is a button to lock the screen in the form of a slider and a camera shutter key
  • On the left side there are two connectors closed with rubber plugs. The first is a standard slot for microSD memory cards, and the second slot is used for a SIM card. But "hot" replacement is not provided. To remove the SIM card, you must first remove the battery and push it out with a stylus through a special hole. At the junction of the case and the back cover, you can see two holes for stereo speakers, hidden behind a metal mesh. There is also a hole in the bottom corner for the included strap.
  • The top end houses a microUSB port and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. Closer to the right edge placed the power button of the device and the socket for connecting the charger
