The phone is convenient, the interface is like that of older models, the address book, built-in email client, SMS, settings are all a pleasure to work with. The phone does not have radio and Bluetooth, but this is already a cost, there are Nokias that have such a set but they cost different money. For its price, the phone is definitely good. 1) The phone has an excellent body, I have the 1680 black, and in a year and a half, the mobile hasn't lost its appearance, even though I dropped it a couple of times. I used a case. 2) The 1680 is powered by the mobile OS S40 series fifth edition, with the same menu and interface as the higher-end models. 3) The phone supports EDGE, so you can browse the internet without issues, which is not bad for a budget phone. 4) You can install any Java programs up to 200 KB in size; I’m using Opera Mini 4.2, M-agent 1.3, and I've installed a couple of games and applications. 5) The phone has an amazing built-in antenna, it gets reception everywhere, in the elevator, in the underground parking lot, etc., without any problems. 6) The phone has a good display, with maximum viewing angles, and a decent size of 1.8 inches. Probably the best screen among budget phones, I compared it with the 2330 classic, which has a worse screen, the screens have different matrices. 7) The camera can shoot video and takes decent photos for its 0.3 megapixels, similar to the good old Nokia 6600. 8) I liked the rubber keyboard, typing texts is convenient, the ergonomics are well-designed, the keyboard doesn't click loudly (which is a big plus for me). The keyboard is quite firm, you need to apply some force to press the buttons, women may not like this, although you get used to it quickly. 9) The phone has decent built-in memory, I managed to store 50-60 photos and 5 videos, with some space left for apps. 10) Good call quality. 11) Excellent value for money. 1) Keyboard for the enthusiast, I liked it, but when buying it, you should still look at it, press the buttons. 2) The phone doesn't have Bluetooth, but this isn't a problem if you know how to use mobile file sharing. 3) No radio 4) Fairly high SAR level 5) The 700 mAh battery lasts for about 3-4 full days, would prefer longer battery life 6) When changing SIM cards or removing the battery, the time and date on the phone are not saved 7) The backlight stays on for a few seconds, can't be set for a longer time  Magnum-44: use Nokia 1680 Classic more than year |
