How to choose a gaming keyboardLet's look at the differences between the types of switches and additional equipment for gaming keyboards
Video reviews

Quality China

Looking at the Motospeed CK108, hardcore gamers immediately have a question, what kind of Chinese is this? And why review it. And then, unlike many three-penny gadgets from China, this is actually a well-assembled keyboard without any hint of handicraft. During the test battles, the keys were pressed with the same response, the backlight worked clearly and without glitches, and the local switches performed well in fact.

Switches Outemu Blue

For the sake of reducing the final cost, the guys from Motospeed used the more affordable Outemu Blue instead of expensive Cherry MX switches. And, if you managed to play more than one mechanical keyboard, then expect possible surprises. The fact is that due to their cheapness, Outemu is not always consistent, and sometimes switches of the same colour on the same keyboard slightly differ in pressing force and sound. To be fair, this is extremely rare. Judging by the reviews on the network, there is a higher chance that after 6-12 months you will be overtaken by problems with LED burnout or sticky keys. Although, no one is immune from this. In terms of physical feel, the difference to the Cherry was minimal and was mostly noticed by hardcore gamers who played on dozens of different keyboards.

Everything you need, nothing more

Otherwise, the keyboard turned out to be comfortable and functional, if you don’t know about switches, then the price could be laid even higher. For example, it has individual RGB backlighting for keys with zoning, an arm rest, a bunch of different effects, brightness control directly from the keyboard, game mode, etc. Plus, the base of the keyboard is made from a single piece of aluminium, which does not flex when pressed and lies on the table as if rooted to the spot. By tradition, there are two solid rubberized legs on the bottom, which eliminates accidental slipping of the keyboard on the table. The design of the model is good, the materials are of high quality and nothing more.
