The ironing press presented by the Italian brand MIE is a confident leader in sales, although it belongs to solutions at the junction of the middle and higher price segments. The press supports 5 temperature modes in the range from 80 to 220 °C, and the optimal parameters are set for the most common types of fabric: nylon (synthetics), silk, wool, cotton and dense linen products. The intensity of the steam supply is also regulated: there are three levels with a maximum power of 140 g / min.
The control process of MIE Europa is convenient and intuitive thanks to the touch panel display. The current temperature level of the platform is constantly displayed on the screen. The control panel is complemented by an English-language voice assistant. He, for example, will announce the selected mode and tell you when it's time to lift the press. Voice prompts can be turned off if desired.
There are also two steam buttons on the handle and a top cover lock, so you don’t have to constantly hold it with your hand.
Safe and well-equipped device
The press has an automatic shutdown: if you leave the heated platform lowered for more than 10 seconds, the heater will turn off and the steam supply will stop. The device itself turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity with the lid open.
The scope of supply includes a cushion-lining to protect the fittings and care for delicate items and/or their contour areas. And as an additional option for purchase, a folding stand with a shelf for linen is available, but the model “feels” well on a table or other horizontal surface.
