One of the affordable models of dual-band wireless routers (routers) of the AC1200 class with support for Wi-Fi 5 standard, MU-MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transmission technology, and the useful Beamforming virtual focusing function. It is positioned as a basic price category product for 2021, intended for organizing a full-fledged wireless and cable network in a city apartment, single house, or small office (up to 2 desktop PCs).

To organize a high-speed incoming connection to the provider's network, there is a Gigabit Ethernet WAN-port with a bandwidth of up to 1000 Mbps. The Mercusys MR30G router is based on a combination of a high-performance chipset with a standard radio module and four external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi. For such a platform, the manufacturer claims an impressively high theoretical peak wireless connection speed (867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz). It should be noted that the real internet connection speeds will be limited to 350/130 Mbps, which is quite sufficient for any household tasks. The router will ensure comfortable surfing, easily handle routing of FullHD/4K resolution IPTV broadcasts, cloud services, gaming, VPN traffic, and the intensive load created by file-sharing network clients.
