Affordable and powerful dual-band wireless MESH system designed to create an extended seamless Wi-Fi 5 network. The kit consists of two blocks, each of which is equipped with three universal Gigabit Ethernet ports with automatic recognition of the WAN / LAN connection type. Both blocks are capable of fully performing the functions of AC1900 class MESH routers, providing impressive theoretical connection speeds (up to 600 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and up to 1300 Mbps when using a 5 GHz carrier frequency). The Mercusys Halo H50G (2-pack) MESH system is positioned as a 2021 mid-range product aimed at serving multi-room apartments (up to 120 m²), small houses and other spacious residential areas saturated with a large number of wireless devices. The MESH system enclosures have a simple and elegant exter...ior design that will easily fit into any modern interior. A set of built-in antennas and support for 3x3 MU-MIMO technology provides an impressive real user data transfer rate, which is enough for comfortable viewing of UltraHD/4K resolution IPTV broadcasts, participating in multi-user video conferences, comfortable gaming, working with large files, etc. Proper installation of system elements allows you to solve the problem of "dead" zones, increase the stability of connections and avoid cable laying.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Mercusys Halo H50G (2-pack) is a reliable MESH system designed to enhance Wi-Fi coverage in large spaces. It features dual-band support with speeds of up to 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz, ensuring robust connectivity. Users appreciate its modern technologies, gigabit capability, and excellent price-quality ratio. The system is easy to set up via the Mercusys Halo mobile app, offering features like WPS, QoS, and parental controls. However, some users noted that after voltage fluctuations, the units might lose connection, requiring a reset. Despite this, the system provides strong wireless connections even through multiple walls, making it a solid choice for those seeking to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones.

great model, I really liked it

Having bought a 3-pack for WiFi coverage of two booths (total 250 sq.m.), I cope with my task better, get more unsettled. Once nalashtuvav and forgetting. Realistically up to 930Mbps (Wnet).
All modern technologies, gigabit, coverage area, price-quality.
After voltage surges and drops in the grid (40-280 V), they lost connection with each other, but thankfully they didn't burn out... I didn't notice it right away, had to set them up again.

Take it, and you'll forget about any problems with wi-fi.

No drawbacks. Routers are incomparable.
Wireless connection between the units at speeds over 100 Mbps over a distance of 30 meters through 3 reinforced concrete walls.
In my opinion, perhaps the energy consumption is subjectively high.

The Wi-Fi signal often does not reach the remote corners of a large apartment or country house. The Mercusys Halo H50G MESH system is ideal for solving this problem.

small cubes

Structurally, the system consists of two small white cubes with sides slightly less than 9 cm in size. Each of the "pods" provides power connectors and a trio of reassignable gigabit WAN / LAN ports with automatic connection type detection. Also near the interfaces is a reset button. Each cube of the MESH system covers a space of about 60 m².

Wireless connection

The modules support two wireless bands — 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. In the first case, the bandwidth reaches 600 Mbps, in the second - 1300 Mbps. The nodes of the MESH system are connected over the air or through a cable connection. Client devices are automatically connected to the node with the strongest signal. Beamforming technology helps to focus the signal in the direction of connected devices.

Mobile app

The MESH system is configured through the Mercusys Halo mobile app. The model "knows how" in WPS and QoS, and also has parental control functions. The web interface provides a reduced functionality: it can only update the firmware and check the logs with a log. For a snack, Mercusys Halo H50G left the most delicious - affordable price, which minimally hits the thickness of the wallet.
