Firstly, this is the most affordable smartphone with the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. $280 is the base Meizu 16T variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. Even Xiaomi Mi 9 and Mi 9T Pro will cost a little more.

Secondly, the smartphone is positioned as a truly massive gaming model that will appeal to fans of WOT, Fortnite and PUBG. In addition to the powerful processor and Adreno 640 graphics core, the device received a linear vibration motor and a special Game Mode 4.0 game mode, which, using artificial intelligence, optimizes the distribution of system resources for games. Meizu boasts that specialists from the largest Chinese gaming corporation Tencent participated in the development and testing of game functions.

Nice design

In terms of front panel design, the new Meizu 16T completely copies the latest models of the company — the same recognizable style that combines metal and glass, a nice and different back cover, and a screen with very thin frames without any tricks like retractable camera or waterdrop notch. The front camera of the smartphone is located in a thin upper frame along with the earpiece. The display diagonal is 6.5". This is a pretty good Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, full DCI-P3 colour gamut, and plenty of brightness.
