A tool for truly hassle-free work
22 May 2017
I bought the hammer drill for work, that is, we can say that for professional use. The approach to such a purchase may vary. I have a friend who takes all sorts of nonsense like Protons or Dnipro-Ms and kills them in the trash in six months or a year. I love a good instrument and first of all I look towards Makita, Hitachi and Bosch. Yes, such tools are many times more expensive, but they are more reliable and much more pleasant to use. I bought this model on sale for only 3900 UAH. I consider myself very lucky, the full price of such a device is approximately $200.
At first glance, its technical characteristics are unremarkable and look ordinary compared to competitors. What is the cost then? And for the fact that here these indicators are honest to the last comma, and for numerous no-names they are shamelessly inflated by 20-50%. So the 780 watts of this model will be more powerful than some supposedly 1100-1300 watt models. The class is felt as soon as you pick it up. Impact-resistant plastic, soft start, a perfectly working SDS chuck and a flexible electrical cable immediately hint that you have a TOOL in your hands, and not cheap nonsense. Among the distinctive features, I will mention the safety clutch, which eliminates sharp jerks when a drill or auger jams, which happens quite often. As for me, any hammer drill with a power of more than 600 honest watts should have such a safety mechanism, but in principle it does not exist on no-name machines.
The only negative is its high price, but even here I managed to save money by taking advantage of the promotion.
