Cordless Screwdriver with Reliable Motor

If we draw a parallel with human anatomy, then the "heart" of the Makita DHP485RFJ screwdriver is rightly considered its motor. It is designed with brushless technology, which offers several advantages: reduced size and weight of the motor, increased output power, and more economical battery usage. An electronic protection system is responsible for the stable and reliable operation of this "heart," preventing overloads and overheating. Additionally, the tool is equipped with an electronic brake that instantly stops the chuck after releasing the start button.

Easily Handles Medium Complexity Tasks

A torque level of 50 Nm allows the screwdriver to operate confidently with fasteners at the first speed with a rotation rate of up to 500 rpm: screwing screws sized up to 6x75 mm and bolts up to M6. The necessary tightening force is easily set using an adjustment ring with 21 positions. The second gear of the reducer accelerates up to 1900 rpm and is intended for drilling. The tool allows for drilling holes in wood with a diameter of up to 38 mm and in metal up to 13 mm. The presence of an impact mechanism broadens the scope of application, enabling drilling into light concrete and brickwork to a depth of up to 13 mm for installing shelves, cornices, pictures, and other elements. The keyless chuck provides compatibility with both standard drills and hex bits. For working in low-light conditions, there is a built-in LED light.

Everything You Need — Included

The Makita DHP485RFJ package includes two Makita 18V LXT batteries with a capacity of 3 Ah each, as well as a charger with fast-charge support, capable of fully recharging the battery in approximately 22 minutes. Additionally, the set includes a spacious tool case sized 395x295x157 mm from the Makpac modular system with thoughtfully designed inserts for the screwdriver, batteries, and charger.
