5 burners, three zones
The Kaiser KCT 97 FI hob is an induction model from the La Perle line, which is made of glass-ceramic with chamfers (cuts) along the edges. It is quite large, its dimensions are 90x52 cm, since the panel has as many as 5 burners. 4 burners with a size of 20x20 cm and a power of 1.8 kW are located on the sides, another one (28 cm, 1.8 kW), designed for large dishes, took its place in the centre. The side panels can be combined into one to increase the heating area, with each side having its own purpose. On the left is a barbecue area where food is cooked at a constant temperature of 180 degrees for a long time, from 2 to 20 hours. On the right is a teppan-yaki zone in honor of the Japanese way of frying food. Here, on the contrary, a high temperature is used (about 230 degrees), as a result of which you save time on cooking, and the products retain their bright taste and juiciness. Not without the Power function, when activated, the power of one field is completely or partially transferred to another. As a result, the power of the burner increases to 3 kW (or 4 kW for combined).
The surface automatically recognizes the dishes and heats up only under its bottom (autofocus function), the rest of the areas remain cold. This is not only energy saving, but also safety: the panel can be wiped without getting burned. And after turning off, the indication indicates hot areas — it goes out only when the temperature drops below 60 degrees. This time can be used to reheat the cooled dish.
Convenient management
In front of the surface is a touch control panel with general and individual settings for each burner. It is quite simple and clear: for example, to select the degree of power, you just need to swipe or touch in the right place. The panel has the ability to lock if there are small children in the house who can accidentally turn on the device. Also, when preparing dishes according to a clear recipe, a timer is useful, and the time can be set for each burner separately, which is very convenient.
