Grand Chef design

The Kaiser KCT 3721 FW built-in electric panel belongs to the KST series of glass-ceramic hobs and is made in the signature Grand Chef frameless design with a beveled front edge. At first, the appearance of the model with a surface of snow-white impact-resistant ceramic does not evoke associations with dominoes due to the square shape of the contours of the burners, but after heating the tapes laid by the disc, everything falls into place. The touch buttons of the Touch control panel with LED-display also have a square shape that meets the general design style. With a surface width of just 28.8 cm, this hob is one of the narrowest in its class, making it easier to fit into tight worktop spaces. The device is completed with a mounting kit, a scraper for cleaning the surface, instructions and a warranty card.

Overcharge

In this model, an oversized 1.2 kW electric burner Ø 16.5 cm is placed forward, and a double heating field with a power of 1.0/2.0 kW Ø 12/20 cm is placed at the back. The touch control panel provides the setting of 9 heating levels for each burner, the child protection function prevents accidental reset of the settings. The built-in timer can work in 2 modes: when setting the cooking time, it will automatically signal the end of the process and turn off the burner, and if you do not set the time, it works in the simple sound notification mode (minute timer). A useful element of the security system is the Safety Guard function, which allows the hob to operate less than that set by the manufacturer for different power levels: up to 8 hours with minimum heating, up to 4 hours with average and 2 hours with maximum. After this time, the zone heating is automatically turned off and the residual heat LED indicator lights up until the panel has cooled down to 60 °C. From our point of view, with the exception of the minimum width, non-standard sizes of burners and original design, this hob has nothing remarkable, and its price is too high.
