Model overview based on user reviews
The Iiyama ProLite XUB2792QSU-B1 is a 27-inch monitor featuring a WQHD resolution of 2560x1440, making it suitable for novice photographers, designers, and editors. It uses an IPS panel with a pseudo-10-bit color depth, capable of reproducing up to 1.07 billion colors, and offers nearly full sRGB coverage. The monitor includes a versatile stand that allows for height adjustment, tilt, and portrait mode rotation, along with a VESA mount for more complex setups. Connectivity is enhanced by a built-in USB hub with two ports, and it also features built-in speakers that provide decent sound quality. However, some users have reported issues with the matrix, noting selected pixels and subpixels problems that may affect its suitability for professional graphics work. Despite these concerns, the monitor's overall features and performance make it a competitive option in its price range.

High-Quality Workhorse

The Iiyama ProLite XUB2792QSU is a high-quality workhorse that will appeal to novice photographers, designers, and editors due to its excellent panel and affordable price. The monitor features a 27-inch IPS panel with WQHD resolution (2560x1440). Considering the price, these specifications are optimal. The panel is pseudo-10-bit (8 bit + FRC) and can reproduce up to 1.07 billion shades. Straight out of the box, with the standard color profile, the ProLite XUB2792QSU shows a color gamut level close to 100% of sRGB. Thanks to this, the monitor allows working with color even without hardware calibration and re-profiling.

Package Without Regard to Price

The design is done in the company's signature style: the screen with medium-thick bezels is mounted on a slightly rounded rectangular stand. If you've seen even one monitor from the company, you've already noticed that they look like twin brothers. Just perfect for those buyers who don't want glossy finishes and flashy stands. Especially since, in terms of additional "usefulness," Iiyama approached very seriously and packed the monitor in such a way that there would be no regrets in the future.

USB Hub, Convenient Stand, and Built-In Speakers

Firstly, the stand here rotates just as you wish: it allows tilting the monitor, adjusting its height, or rotating it 90 degrees to switch to portrait mode. For more complex manipulation, a VESA mount is provided. Secondly, connection options, besides standard video outputs, are supplemented with a 2-port USB hub. Handy when all free USB ports in the computer are occupied or when the case is deeply under the desk and it's hard to find the ports in the dark. A pleasant bonus is the built-in stereo system. The claimed speaker power is 2W each; however, they sound much louder without crackling and without turning the sound into mush, as speakers in inexpensive monitors often do.
