Outdated Product
A worthwhile offer in the segment of 24-inch monitors with a low-cost price tag, which takes its toll with a well-balanced balance of technical parameters. Outwardly, the monitor is not particularly remarkable, but with a close acquaintance with the characteristics of the model, a genuine interest in her person arises. The screen of the Iiyama ProLite X2474HS-B1 is based on a pseudo-eight-bit VA-matrix with FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels). A 24-bit image palette (and this, for a minute, the ability to display over 16.7 million colours) is achieved through the use of Frame Rate Control (FRC) technology. The monitor matrix is characterized by a 75 Hz scan out of the box, a low response time (4 ms) and high static and dynamic contrast ratios (3,000:1 and 12,000,000:1, respectively). The...monitor is connected to video signal sources via VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI interfaces, and the model also has a pair of entry-level broadband speakers with a power of 2.5 W each. The "leg" to which the monitor is attached provides the ability to adjust the angle of the display. An alternative way to install the model is to hang it on the wall, for which the monitor design has holes for a VESA 100x100 mm bracket.
