The first generation of the Huawei Nova smartphone turned out to be interesting, but just 9 months after the announcement, a significantly “pumped” successor was “rolled out” to replace it. With special care, it approached the issue of photo features: the model acquired both a newfangled dual main camera and a front camera with a resolution of 20 MP for shooting high-quality selfies. The main photomodule is built on the basis of two 12-megapixel sensors and provides the possibility of a double optical zoom without losing image detail.
Productivity platform
The place of the 625th "dragon" in the heart of the hardware platform of the device was taken by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chip of its own design, identical in performance. It is accompanied by 4 GB of "RAM" and 64 GB of permanent memory. Such a bundle is not the best suited for demanding games, but it shows itself very confidently in normal usage scenarios.
Extended functionality
The 5-inch screen of Huawei Nova 2 has FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) and is made using IPS technology. It transmits bright and rich colours, and also boasts wide viewing angles. But more technologically savvy is not he, but the fingerprint scanner on the back of the smartphone. In addition to protecting personal data from unauthorized access, it performs a number of useful functions — a swipe on the surface of the fingerprint sensor opens the notification panel and scrolls through photos, and pressing the scanner replaces the shutter button in photo mode.
Average battery life
With a 2950 mAh battery, you have to count on about a day of mobile gadget operation in standard use. Charging the battery to a full tank takes a little over an hour and a half. A slightly repulsive factor from a momentary trip to the store for a smartphone is the overpriced model at the start of sales, but you still can’t call it transcendental.
