Detailed FAQ on storage water heatersWe answer the most common questions regarding the installation and operation of storage water heaters
Model overview based on user reviews
The Hotpoint-Ariston SG water heater is generally praised for its reliability and functionality, with users noting its ability to maintain water temperature effectively. Many appreciate its simple and economical design, with a basic yet reliable thermomechanical regulator. However, some users have reported issues with the mounting bracket and the outer casing's weak metal, which can cave in when filled with water. There are mixed reviews regarding its longevity; while some have used it for several years without issues, others experienced leaks after a couple of years. Despite minor noise during heating and occasional dripping from the safety valve, it is considered a good budget option for those not seeking the lowest price. The product's design is seen as somewhat bulky, but it is generally recommended for its reliable performance.

Good reliable, inexpensive I have been using it for 7 years (only in summer), haven't cleaned it even once. I've read reviews about other brands - people say they rot, leak, etc., after a year. warms for a long time |
If it weren't for the fastening, the impression would have been better. Simple - just like the door, the thermostat works clearly, holds hot water perfectly. Economical. The first mark is boiling water. Mounting bracket - poorly designed. Weak metal of the outer casing. When I filled it with water, the casing noticeably caved in at the middle mounting point. Seems like Russians are cutting corners in assembly. No mounting accessories in the set, no cord either. |
We bought this model and our joy knew no bounds! But after 2 years it started leaking, they removed it, cleaned it, tried to repair it, but it didn’t help, it started leaking even more! Perhaps we got some kind of defective one, but I won’t buy Ariston again!!!!! Holds water temperature well! The guaranteed period did not work! |
