Outdated Product
Affordable 50 liter electric storage water heater with traditional cylindrical body and vertical wall mount. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the basic price category, the democratic cost of which will be of interest to a wide range of consumers. Suitable for organizing hot water supply for a bathroom and kitchen for a small family of up to 2 people. Nanomix technology, which is used to make a special distribution divider, optimizes the mixing of streams with different temperatures and increases the proportion of hot water ready for direct use. The internal steel tank of the Hotpoint-Ariston SG 50 V water heater is covered with a special heat-resistant glass-ceramic enamel, the surface of which contains a small amount of silver. This surface impuri...ty inhibits the development of microorganisms, which helps to keep the walls of the apparatus clean. As an additional anti-corrosion protection, a magnesium anode is provided, which works as an electrochemical protector. To regulate the temperature, there is a simple mechanical thermostat and a bimetallic thermometer, the indicator of which is located in the upper part of the housing. Water heating is carried out by a traditional immersion tubular electric heating element in a copper sheath (1500 W). It takes a little less than two hours to heat the tank volume to 45 °C.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Hotpoint-Ariston SG water heater is generally praised for its reliability and functionality, with users noting its ability to maintain water temperature effectively. Many appreciate its simple and economical design, with a basic yet reliable thermomechanical regulator. However, some users have reported issues with the mounting bracket and the outer casing's weak metal, which can cave in when filled with water. There are mixed reviews regarding its longevity; while some have used it for several years without issues, others experienced leaks after a couple of years. Despite minor noise during heating and occasional dripping from the safety valve, it is considered a good budget option for those not seeking the lowest price. The product's design is seen as somewhat bulky, but it is generally recommended for its reliable performance.

For not much money - like "Ariston".

If it weren't for the fastening, the impression would have been better.
Simple - just like the door, the thermostat works clearly, holds hot water perfectly. Economical. The first mark is boiling water.
Mounting bracket - poorly designed. Weak metal of the outer casing. When I filled it with water, the casing noticeably caved in at the middle mounting point. Seems like Russians are cutting corners in assembly.
No mounting accessories in the set, no cord either.

Eternal roulette lucky or unlucky!!!!

We bought this model and our joy knew no bounds! But after 2 years it started leaking, they removed it, cleaned it, tried to repair it, but it didn’t help, it started leaking even more! Perhaps we got some kind of defective one, but I won’t buy Ariston again!!!!!
Holds water temperature well!
The guaranteed period did not work!

good model, I liked it.

There are a lot of budget storage water heaters on the market now, but I wouldn't recommend chasing after the lowest price. This is especially true for domestically produced water heaters, which often have issues with the enamel coating of the inner tank. In inexpensive models, it is always made from sheet steel of relatively small thickness. Therefore, when the enamel cracks (which happens more often than you'd like), the water reaches the metal, leaving only the last line of defense – the magnesium anode. And it is often replaced late, if at all.
A simple, reliable, and functional water heater from a time-tested manufacturer that meets all my needs. Yes, it's made in China, but iPhones aren't made in America either, so issues with quality arise where control over it weakens. It seems like Hotpoint-Ariston has everything in order in this regard. Its dimensions are standard, with a diameter of 44 centimeters, and I hung it on the bathroom wall above the toilet. It has the most basic control system with a thermomechanical regulator. However, it's worth noting that it’s also the most reliable. This technology has been refined to the point where such regulators almost never break. Also, unlike modern electronics, this type of regulator doesn't care about network voltage fluctuations. The 1.5 kilowatt heater heats the tank to 60 degrees Celsius in about 105-110 minutes (artesian water at +14 degrees Celsius year-round). Water at this temperature is more than enough for two people to shower, and there's even some left for the kitchen. Inside, the tank is protected by quality enamel, and there's a large magnesium anode too.
It makes a bit of noise when heating, but with the doors closed, it doesn’t bother anyone. Again, a little dripping from the safety valve during heating, people say it's normal.
