Running Destiny
A fitness tracker with a classic capsule layout can be wrapped around a flexible strap with a clasp like a watch or placed in a plastic bracket with fasteners directly on the shoe. In the “on foot” mode, the tracker collects the maximum amount of information about the parameters of the user’s physical activity: controls the placement of the foot, the degree of its wrong side, calculates the step length, determines the cadence and duration of contact with the surface.
P-OLED screen
The front panel of the Huawei Honor Band 4 Running capsule meets the “carrier” with a half-inch P-OLED screen showing a monochrome picture at a maximum resolution of 88x48 pixels. The fitness tracker screen displays the time, steps taken, and notification icons for calls, incoming messages, and app alerts from a Bluetooth-connected smartphone. At the same time, the text of the messages is not shown on it. The visibility of readings on the bracelet display on a bright sunny day leaves much to be desired. The screen itself turned out to be non-touch, but in its lower part there is a button that supports finger touch recognition.
Long "survivability"
There was no place for the heart rate monitoring sensor on board the bracelet. Equipping with such is the prerogative of the “purebred” Huawei Honor Band 4. But with the water protection of the case (in accordance with the requirements of the IP68 standard) and the “survivability” period on one “refueling” of a 77 mAh rechargeable battery, the fitness tracker is doing well. Judge for yourself, without energy replenishment from the outside, the fitness tracker keeps afloat for three weeks in a row.
