How to choose a pushchair: useful tips for parentsLet's figure out what to look for when buying a pushchair: its types, kinds of wheels, materials and accessories
All  specifications

The Hauck Roadster Duo SLX pushchair has been offered to parents of twins and older children for several years now. The German manufacturer regularly updates this book-folding "walk" model, as it remains very popular among buyers.

Manoeuvrable, comfortable and practical

Hauck Roadster Duo SLX received 4 large cast rubber wheels on suspension suspension. The front ones are swivel with a locking function. These features provide good cross-country ability and manoeuvrability, a fairly soft and quiet ride even on imperfect roads.

Both "walk" seats provide individual adjustment of the backrest and footrests. The width of the seats is 31 cm, so the kids will not be cramped even in winter clothes. The bumper is complemented by groin straps, it is removable, as well as rather large hoods, and the inner seat liner.

The pushchair will not fit into a standard elevator (width 76 cm), but this is the “trouble” of most models for twins.

Transformation into a universal variant

Useful features of the Hauck Roadster Duo SLX include compatibility with branded Tragenest carry cots. Having bought them, the pushchair can be turned into a transformer and used from the moment the twins are born.

The downside of the Hauck Roadster Duo SLX is the non-adjustable handlebar. It can be a problem for parents of short or rather tall stature. The second drawback is the small package. The absence of a raincoat, a footmuff and a mosquito net in it will in most cases force parents to spend extra money on purchasing the necessary accessories. But, probably, this is precisely the reason for the very democratic price of the model in comparison with the offers of competitors. Of the minor flaws, it is worth highlighting the not-so-thought-out folding mechanism (the wheels dirty the pushchair handle).

Hauck Roadster Duo SLX is a relatively inexpensive solution with excellent manoeuvrability, cross-country ability and ease of control, which is always relevant for our “road conditions”.
