Gorenje OGB 80 SEED The tank leaked after 1 year. The service center concluded that the tank is unfit, a manufacturing defect! I bought this model on the recommendation of a colleague who had already installed such a boiler at home. Unlike models with mechanical controls, this model has an electronic control unit and actually shows the current REAL temperature of the water in the tank. If it were also equipped with a timer, it would be the "boiler of my dreams." The price is a bit steep, but it's well worth the money. use Gorenje OGB 80 SEDD month or more |
P.S. I use a Gorenje gas stove, it's somewhat better, but also has noticeable drawbacks. Appearance. Electronic control. Absolute unreliability. After six months of use, the control unit failed, and it was replaced under warranty without question or surprise. (I am not mentioning that the button coating was dented within a month). After two years, it began to leak around the flange; tightening the nuts didn't help. I went and bought a new gasket, replaced it, but it still didn't help. After extensive investigations, it turned out that the tank (yes, the notorious one with super enamel and a 7-year warranty) had corroded at the inner bend of the flange, and water was seeping under the screws and out. |
