Model overview based on user reviews
The Gorenje GBFU E water heater has received mixed reviews from users. While some appreciate its quick heating capabilities and economical dry heating elements, many have reported significant issues with durability. A common complaint is that the tank leaks after a short period of use, often within a few months to a couple of years, despite the advertised 7-year warranty. Users have expressed frustration with the warranty conditions, which require regular maintenance by authorized service centers, adding to the cost. Some have experienced problems with the magnesium anode wear detection system and thermometer accuracy. Although the product is praised for its design and compactness, the frequent leaks and poor customer service have led many to advise against purchasing this model.

good model, liked it.

a 50-liter capacity is an excellent option for situations when hot water is needed for one person. It's more than enough for a shower, cleaning, or doing the dishes, and you don't have to wait long for this volume to heat up. This model gets the job done in less than two hours. And that's if you're heating the water to the maximum temperature of 75 degrees, whereas for a shower, for example, 45-50 degrees is usually sufficient. The water reaches this temperature in just about an hour.
Thanks to the two kilowatt tubular electric heaters, the tank heats up very quickly. The heaters themselves are not ordinary, but "dry". This is a relatively new technology, where the heater does not have its own sturdy casing and heats the water through the wall of a bulb built into the tank. This way, there is a small air gap between the heat-emitting element of the heater and the wall. In such an arrangement, scale formation on the heating element is impossible, and the heater itself, due to the absence of contact with water, lasts significantly longer. The heating elements are connected in parallel, meaning if one fails, the other will continue to heat the water and the boiler will remain operational. I personally, mostly operate it in ECO mode. In this mode, water is not heated to the maximum, but only to 50-55 degrees. At this temperature, heat loss through the boiler wall is almost halved, and no scale forms on the walls of the bulbs. Electronic control allows for saving about 10% of electricity. It pretty accurately determines and displays the water temperature in the tank.
The actual hot water output is about 50 liters, or at most 40. After that, there's a mix of hot and fresh cold water, meaning the temperature drops sharply.
High-quality and reliable European water heater

I bought it at home so that there would be hot water, regardless of the mood of the ZhEKovsky locksmiths and summer shutdown schedules .. We use it together with my wife. In principle, enough, but in places you have to save.
Fast water heating. Two heating elements with a total power of 2000 W heat a fifty-liter tank in less than two hours. In addition, two heating elements are connected in parallel and if one of them burns out, the second one will be able to continue working and will heat the water. Heating elements in it are used not simple submersible, but progressive, "dry". They do not scale, work much longer and can be easily replaced without opening the water heater tank. Tank with high-quality enamel coating. A special hardened enamel is used, which is resistant to temperature changes and the formation of cracks and chips. Simple and clear control. Reliable mechanical thermostat. The Gorenje brand has been pleasing us for a long time in the face of a washing machine and microwave. Good, comfortable and reliable equipment.
Thermometer. Not only does it noticeably raise the temperature of the water and, having climbed into the shower, you can rinse with cold water, its location is, to put it mildly, inconvenient. The water heater hangs just under the ceiling, the thermometer is located in the upper part of the body and as a result its scale and arrow are at a height of more than two meters. For a person with a height below 180 cm, it is difficult to normally consider the readings of a thermometer.

High cost, but poor quality.

This is my 2nd Combustion boiler. The first one was simpler - TGN 50, which lasted for 2 years. Since I was too lazy to remake the holders, and the dimensions were the same, I bought this model (more expensive). As a result, for exactly 4 years a glass of dry heater leaked (at first I thought the heater gasket was leaking, but after understanding this topic I realized that there were no gaskets), while the boiler was running 90% in economy mode!!! As a result, you will have to change the flange. I looked on the Internet - the cheapest one is more than 600 UAH, and the original one is almost 1000 UAH. Plus the work of a master. As a result, the repair is 50% of the cost of a new one.
Design
Not durable (leaked after 4 years). A scam with the warranty. On the official website "7-year tank warranty if the tank is serviced by a service center every 24 months" - of course, this service is not free!
