More than promised
FSP Hyper 80+ Pro H3-650 is a de jure certified 80 PLUS White power supply. But de facto, according to the results of external independent testing, its efficiency is 85 percent, which corresponds to the level of already 80 PLUS Bronze. Able to work only in 220-volt electrical networks, which, however, is not a problem in our area.
Progressive Approach
It is built on its own FSP platform with already separate stabilization of low-voltage DC-DC lines. Whereas the younger series of PSU FSP PNR is still content with the classic group stabilization. It is cooled by a 12 cm Yate Loon spinner on a sleeve bearing, which is a frequent guest in inexpensive power supplies (rotation speed from 900 to 2400 rpm).
Protective reflexes
An EMI filter is soldered at the input, as well as a varistor to protect against sudden voltage surges and lightning strikes. But the varistor helps only if the household electrical outlet is grounded. But, alas, there is no fuse.
