cook assistant
The cooking surface of the Swiss company Franke will not hit the family low-cost hard, but it will allow you to cook your favorite dishes without culinary skills. The model belongs to the Smart line, which already speaks of its "smart" functions. First of all, this is a special Cookassist assistant, which offers several modes and, after choosing one of them, controls the process itself. The melt mode is suitable, for example, for chocolate, maintaining the optimum temperature and preventing it from burning. Boil mode brings water to a boil quickly and maintains it with low energy consumption. With slow boiling, the indicator is set just below the boiling point for a long time. This mode is useful for sauces, stir-fries, etc. And the keep warm mode is applied after cooking to keep the food hot.
4 burners for large and small dishes
Franke FSM 804 IB BK allows you to use dishes of different sizes thanks to four burners. On the left — two identical fields with a diameter of 180 mm and a power of 1.8 kW, on the right — a small burner with a diameter of 1.45 mm (1.2 kW) and a large one of 210 mm (2.1 kW). But they are not placed compactly, so the panel is unformatted and too wide — 77 cm. It turns out a lot of extra, unused space. As with most advanced models, the Booster mode is available and the Bridge Zone induction bridge combines two burners into one, increasing the heating area for large pans. The indicators let you know if the materials are not suitable for induction cooking or the heating zones are still hot after being switched off, so that you do not accidentally burn yourself.
The touch panel is responsible for control, which can be blocked if desired. A timer is also available, more precisely, two timers — one controls the left side, the other controls the right. This is not very convenient if you use all four burners and cook different dishes. In addition, the timer is not an ordinary household one; it turns off the burners after the specified time has elapsed. That is, it will not work just to detect time for other things.
