Smarter Than It Seems at First Glance

The Flymo EasiLife GO 250 robotic lawnmower, like most similar devices, navigates the area using a boundary wire laid slightly below the ground surface. It moves randomly across the lawn, changing direction when encountering obstacles or borders. Unlike many other models, this robot excels at navigating narrow passages — even as narrow as 60 cm. Additionally, with the LawnSense feature, the device can detect when the grass starts growing faster by the increased resistance during cutting, and in such cases, it automatically extends the working time.

Details and Nuances

You can control the device either using the menu on the body or via the Flymo EasiLife mobile app — we found the latter significantly more convenient. Users can set a mowing schedule, select the working zone (main or additional), and activate the FrostSense function, which pauses the robot’s operation when the temperature drops below 5 °C. The adjustment of the cutting height (from 20 to 45 mm) is not the most convenient: you need to flip the unit over and manually adjust the spindle blade using a special key. However, this drawback is not critical, as with regular lawn care, the height doesn't need to be changed often — usually no more than once per season.

Quiet and Economical Worker for Small Lawns

A significant advantage of the Flymo EasiLife GO 250 is its nearly silent operation: the noise level is only 57 dB, comparable to an outdoor air conditioning unit. This means the robot won't disturb either the owner or the neighbors. It can also work in high heat conditions (up to +50 °C), is rainproof (with an IPX5 protection rating), and consumes minimal electricity — approximately 2.1 kWh per month with daily operation of 4–5 hours. All of this makes it a great choice for maintaining lawns up to 250 m².
