The chip collection bag is just for fun (maybe only useful for adjusting doors when they swell from moisture). The volume is a bit small for serious work, and it still throws out fine dust.
Regarding planing depth: I tried to remove a 3.5 mm layer over the entire width of the base, which was quite difficult for it. Optimal - 1-1.5 mm.
For comparison: I had experience with Interskol before. Like night and day! I forgot that I had to check the depth of planing (on the Interskol, the adjustment handle could change the depth due to vibrations).
In short, this little guy has paid for itself 200%!!!
