Large planing depth

DeWalt D26500 is a serious electric planer for domestic and industrial use. The main feature of the planer is a large depth of planing — 4 mm, which allows you to level the serious curvature of the workpiece. Slotting for fittings is possible up to 25 mm deep, which is almost twice as large as for models of a similar price category. For sampling a quarter, a special guide is included in the kit.

Powerful Tool

The DeWalt D26500 electric planer is equipped with a powerful 1050W motor. Thanks to this power, the tool easily handles with wood of any density and even with knots, and does it without chipping or damaging the material. On the right side of the frame, a protection is installed that blocks the drum in case of accidental start of the planer. Carbide reversible blades provide long-term operation of the planer without the need to constantly sharpen the working body. Also, the model is equipped with a start button blocker and a “parking” shoe. Such an excellent unit is not cheap, but it cuts off more than a dozen cubic metres of wood for you.

For right-handers and left-handers

DeWalt D26500 is designed for both left-handers and right-handers. The dust collector or vacuum cleaner can be connected on either side (the same can be done with the parallel stop). For chamfering on the cast sole of the electric planer, there are three grooves of different widths at once. The metal housing of the gearbox in conjunction with the air cooling system does not allow the engine to overheat for several hours of continuous operation. Two rubberized handles provide comfortable guidance of the planer during planing. However, it is worth noting that the device is quite heavy — 4 kg, which affects the fatigue in the hands.
