bought today, after a long search on the internet yesterday. the noise is acceptable, ideal for short-term cleaning. They say the cord gets in the way, but I think the duration of operation is better than being cordless. so far, nothing but the rivets on the belt... hold, we'll need to replace these buttons. It picks up debris from the new laminate flooring excellently (considering it's hot in the apartment and we do NOT plan to have carpets), meaning it has enough suction power for smooth floors for sure. 2 days ago the floor in the entire apartment was cleaned, but today it picked up a noticeable handful of crumbs, dust, hair, and fluff, which means it was able to clean a seemingly clean apartment even more!
I will update/add to the review after a month of use.
