 | Outdated Product In 2022, the Chinese manufacturer Dark Project continued its line of inexpensive full-size gaming headphones with the HS-2 model. Like its predecessor HS-1, the headset has a high-quality assembly, beautiful LED-backlighting and sound sound. With a light weight of just over 300g, a wide headband and good weight distribution, the YS-2 can be played for hours on end. A nice addition to the main leatherette ear pads is a set of fabric ear pads, which will undoubtedly expand the user's comfort and prolong the life of the headphones. A removable microphone on a flexible leg and a cable with an external sound card are connected to the left bowl, to which, in turn, you can connect the USB and mini-Jack cables that come with the kit. The main cable is wrapped in a strong fabric winding, but, unfor...tunately, it is non-removable, and the assembly of the sound card unit is somewhat sloppy. These two shortcomings are compensated by the sound of the Dark Project HS-2. If the headphones sound average when listening to music, then in games they show excellent positioning and realism. A proprietary application helps to achieve optimal results. It has an equalizer with presets, support for 7.1 multi-channel audio, reverb effects, a microphone gain function with voice distortion and backlight control. |
