The DAKINE backpack belongs to the models for winter sports. It includes ski and snowboard racks.

Ski planks are recommended to be placed diagonally: two loops for them are located on both sides above and below. But the board is transferred vertically: with fixation on the side tie straps. The latter will also help to "compact" the contents of the model, preventing shaking and unnecessary noise.

For outdoor activities

DAKINE Heli Pack 12L is also suitable for other sports, because there is a compartment for a hydrator and an outlet for its tubes, loops for equipment, as well as a comfortable fixation system with a waist belt and a chest strap. By the way, the whistle is integrated into the latter.

The relatively small 12-liter capacity should not be a problem for users. So, in the main compartment, instead of a drinking system, a laptop with a 15-inch screen is allowed. Therefore, the backpack can be considered not only as a sport, but also suitable for outdoor activities. The main compartment also has room for other items, including warm gloves, snacks, a water bottle, and more.

Additional storage systems

The backpack also has a compact front pocket for small items. Plus, in the absence of skis or a board in front, in the crab pocket, you can place, for example, a removable blade of a shovel or other items. There is also a fleece-lined top pocket, perfect for transporting ski goggles or goggles. Against the background of such a variety, the absence of the usual side pockets is nothing more than a minor flaw.

The disadvantages of DAKINE Heli Pack 12L include a fairly high cost. But the model has practically no competitors among compact sports backpacks equipped with ski and/or snowboard mounts.
