I've been using it for over a year and have two of them. One is installed in a Seagate FTA+ media player, and the other was kept as a spare, but a few months ago, after support from the software developers became available, I installed it in a Dreambox DM8000HD satellite receiver (instead of the internal one that only works in b/g standards). Both adapters work in tandem with the DIR-615 e4. I haven't noticed any issues. The speed is up to 150 Mbps over WiFi, and I watch videos on the media player (files are stored on the computer). Took it for the 802.11n and compact size for the laptop.
The drivers are buggy, it can't see the network. Just like before with D-link internal adapters.
Meanwhile, the built-in ASUS laptop adapter and the Netgear adapter connect without issues, but this one is acting up.
No more D-link!!!
