I got it for a 15" laptop, it barely fit, and with the arrival of summer, it started heating up significantly under load. AIDA showed the processor temperature reaching up to 65°C. When I connected the stand, the temperature under load began to drop to 45 – 47°C. When you place your hand over it, it feels like there's almost no airflow, but the stand is actually effective. After half an hour, you can feel tactilely that the laptop is just barely warm. I use it only at maximum speed. When choosing a stand, consider the placement of the air intake grille on your laptop. Effective cooling, operates quietly, 6 fan speed levels, adjustable tilt angle, even though it's simple, it is available. Powered by a USB port, and it can be powered not only from a computer, but also from a phone charger. There is one USB output. The backlight doesn't turn off, but it doesn't bother me, it's not bright. The actual size from the back panel to the front stopper is about 235 mm, and on the edges, it's 210 mm. In reality, my 15" laptop barely fit, and I have serious doubts it will suit 17" models. I have attached detailed photos with measurements. Also, it doesn’t remember the speed; by default, it turns on at the 3rd, and I always have to click through to the 6th. |
