Gold standard
Chieftec Vega PPG-750-S is a power supply unit with 80+ Gold certification, providing efficiency of up to 92%. Such efficiency is achieved by using the progressive Half-Bridge topology and LLC digital stabilization for each DC-DC line separately. The unit produces 750 W on the +12 V line, and about 100 W more comes from +3.3 and +5 V, which in total exceeds the declared power.
Wide range
The power supply is ATX 3.1 and PCIe Gen 5 compliant, and features an improved 16-pin connector for graphics cards. This connector is free from the melting issues associated with bending, which was sometimes observed with the ATX 3.0 standard. The Vega PPG-750-S supports an input voltage range of 100 to 240 V, making it universal for use in the US and Europe with their different power grid standards.
Maximum protection
Operation in a wide voltage range is especially useful when there are significant voltage drops, for example, in country houses. The power supply is equipped with all the necessary protections: OVP and UVP (from increased and decreased voltage), OCP and SIP (from excess direct and starting currents), OPP (from overload on lines), SCP (from short circuit) and OTP (from overheating). A quiet 135 mm fan with an FDB bearing is responsible for cooling.
