As far as I understand, the main motive, in addition to performance and all other characteristics, was full support for Adobe PostScript, which is crucial for professional prepress. An intelligent and high-quality device with fast first page output, good print speed, built-in duplex and excellent print quality. The first page comes out really quickly, printing in less than 10 seconds. The print speed is remarkable, 33 ppm when printing on one side of the sheet and half that when running duplex. The duplex performed well, there were much fewer errors and damaged sheets, but of course they did not disappear. Now, instead of inserting sheets in the wrong direction, employees forget to make mirror fields))) The printing quality is very high, it is difficult to evaluate it on ordinary paper, but on more expensive 90-120 gram paper the difference is noticeable. The original cartridge has a small capacity of 2100 pages. This would be enough for a home printer, but theoretically, at a firing rate of 33 ppm, the cartridge will be empty in a little more than an hour. We want to buy a cartridge of increased capacity, 6500 pages, but the management still has to formalize its purchase, but they have doubts |
