The Bosch GSR 18V-85 drill driver is the most powerful Bosch cordless model. The torque generated by a modern brushless motor is 85 Nm in "hard mode" and peaks at 110 Nm. Because of this power, a safety clutch is installed between the engine and the gearbox (protects the gears from damage when the drill is jammed), and the tool itself is equipped with an additional handle (allows you to hold the screwdriver with both hands when tightening large screws with a diameter of up to 12 mm).
Excellent equipment
The design of the device is characterized by an emphasis on reliability, safety of operation and comfort for the user. The screwdriver is equipped with an all-metal keyless chuck. Rubberized parts of the body and handles are covered with a soft and pleasant to the touch coating "soft grip". At the bottom of the handle there is an LED to illuminate the working area, and on the battery there is a battery level indicator.
The tool comes with a Bosch 1600A012G0 case, which is not cheap in itself, but in this case is already included in the kit price. Inside the suitcase are the screwdriver itself, as well as an additional handle, a drilling depth limiter, a quick charger and two capacious 5 Ah batteries.
Expensive but professional
The cost of this model is very high (which, however, is typical of all drills from the “blue” Bosch series). Therefore, it is possible to recommend buying such a device only to those who need a very powerful cordless screwdriver for professional work.
