An excellent quality gift for a man. Very strong D2 steel. Holds the factory edge exceptionally well, even though the knife wasn't particularly spared and was used almost daily to open cans. It became slightly dull after 4 months. Sharpening and honing with regular Chinese stones won't work; they hardly affect it. Diamond stones are needed for a quality sharpening. Very pleasant and sturdy locking and opening mechanism. No binding or play after extended use. A convenient clip for carrying, holds the knife well, doesn't slip or fall off when squatting. The handle is of course subjective, but the knife feels pleasant and firm in hand. The material and coating prevent the knife from slipping in your hand.
