I consider a comment in 2023 for a 2021 phone not relevant, but let it be for those who are thinking about the 4 Shark in 2023/2024. I bought it in January 2022 with 12/256, no complaints for the first 6 months, complete satisfaction. I got it for gaming knowing the camera is weak, which still doesn't bother me. About 10 months later, I noticed the phone started heating up—not critically, but there was a difference. After a year, temperatures during gaming reached 43-45 degrees, so I had to limit it, which helped. After 1.5 years, I had to limit it even more, and it started overheating while charging (I didn’t use it while charging) with a 67W block—I assume with 120 watts, the temperature would be higher, as it reaches 45-47 degrees in summer. A phone designed for gaming, a GAMING phone that should handle any game on high settings without issues—after 1 year, you already have to lower the graphics settings so it doesn't overheat. The battery also depletes faster than expected. It heats more in summer, less in winter, and I haven't noticed FPS drops even when overheating, which is commendable. However, there were occasional short glitches and crashes from games. I plan to buy an original Shark cooler to solve the overheating issue. The battery still shows as in good condition, but while it used to last 12 hours, now it lasts 6-10 depending on usage. I also limited its functions, turned off the active screen, turned on dark mode, auto-brightness, autoblock after 15 seconds, all to maintain that 6-10 hours. I consider the phone good despite its shortcomings but morally outdated for those who want to buy it for 5 or more years in 2023/24. It has significant advantages, which is why I bought it and still don't regret it. The processor is going to be relevant in 2024 and can run any game on high settings (though there are exceptions). The display is 144 Hz, and for that amount of money, you can't buy another phone with such a display and features overall, but I haven't encountered games that utilize 144 Hz))) Stable 90 FPS is available wherever possible and 120 if the game supports 120 Hz on Android. The triggers are magnetic and still work smoothly, they are very convenient + always at hand. They are useful both in games and in usual use, as you can assign commands to them and also macros in games; I actively use them, a big plus. The fast charger was included at 67 watts, which I find sufficient as it charges from 0 to 100 in 25-30 minutes. If you need one at 120 watts, check with the store before purchasing. The look - a metal cover with color shimmer and a stylish S in the center, which I find pretty cool, doesn't leave fingerprints, although I carry it in a clear case that came with it; by the way, it's also good. This smartphone will still be relevant in 2024, maybe even 2025. The first time for everything is overheating, I don’t mind anyone taking 20-30 thousand, for me a phone for 18 thousand (styles were given at the time of purchase) is expensive to buy and pay for it at least 5 years, then another minus is the cost, phone already after the rock shows that the battery is far from eternal. For me, there are two main minuses, overheating and battery wear. I’ll be barking for a couple of years and I’ll think about it if I have an hour to change the battery.
