These are not at all the emotions I expected from such a long-awaited purchase. Overall, the case is very convenient for assembly, effective in cooling, stylish in appearance, and has great options for panel replacement (I also appreciated the fan hub). On the other hand, there are many seemingly minor flaws that could be overlooked if it weren't for a few facts: 1) Be Quiet! markets itself as a high-end manufacturer, yet there is no attention to numerous details here. For example, Phanteks and Fractal Design are simply unrivaled in terms of attention to detail, and their products are cheaper (sometimes significantly). 2) There are many flaws that SHOULD supposedly be fixed, after all, this is the second model of this case (the first was 801), but they are still here. 3) The customer support from be quiet! is terrible; they simply said they would forward my complaints to production. They could have at least symbolically sent a tool for the stands by mail - a trivial expense, and it would have elevated their standing in the eyes of the consumer. A similar situation occurred when their power supply started to hum (as the new graphics card apparently has a peculiar power mannerism) - they simply told me, 'buy our new PSU line, what's up'. After several months of use, I have already overlooked all the negatives. I ordered a soft extender from China for the USB key, so the rage has subsided. Now I really enjoy it - stylish, very functional, and with excellent airflow. - Excellent airflow with perforated panels (The temperature on the graphics card compared to the Fractal Design Meshify C Mini dropped by over 13 degrees, though the previous case was VERY compact and the components were physically cramped.) - Convenient removable side panels with buttons - Everywhere necessary, there are holes, making it easy to route cables and secure them with ties. Overall, assembling in this case is quite a pleasant task. - The set includes 2 options for front and top panels: perforated for better cooling and solid with soundproofing. - Good easily removable dust filters at the bottom and front - On the back wall, there is a hub for 6 fans, allowing connection of both 3-pin and 4-pin. On the case, there is a switch to control the hub's operation: the auto position allows the motherboard to control fan speeds - for this, one wire goes from the hub to the motherboard. The other positions 1-3 regulate the voltage to all fans, resulting in 3 fan speed levels. The case fans are completely silent in position 1, almost silent in position 2, and you can hear the airflow in position 3. - Almost anything can be unscrewed, removed, and tucked away inside the case. - There is an option to build an inverted setup - the glass will be on the right side of the case, and the motherboard will be upside down. Why - that's a question, but it's possible. - The kit does not include a tool for working with motherboard standoffs (such a small adapter for a screwdriver)! - The cable management holes on the right side are quite close to the motherboard. My board’s connector for connecting case USB is on the right (not at the bottom like most reasonable boards), the cable from the front USB panel is quite rigid, and the key itself is rather bulky, so it's physically impossible to connect through the cable hole, I had to remove one of the drive bay covers and route the cable through there. - The front filter is secured at the top and bottom, but in the center, it bends a little away from the case on both sides, resulting in dust being generally sucked in past the filter. - The case is quite heavy, and with components, it becomes very heavy, with no protruding parts that could be used to move it conveniently. - Budget pure wings fans, instead of silent wings - Complete disregard for consumers. For such a price, there's not even a basic cardboard box for all the screws - they were just thrown into a large box from replacement panels, nor a cloth for glass; the set of screws is barely sufficient. |
