Barrier Smart

The mass production of filter jars under the Barrier brand was launched at the production facilities of the Energia rocket and space complex back in 1995. Since then, as they say, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge, but the main thing remains the same — Barrier filters occupy key positions in the water treatment systems market.

Strengths

The Smart model takes its toll with its bright design, advanced ergonomics and, of course, the thoroughness of tap water purification. The jug is made of high-quality BASF plastic and is completed out of the box with a Standard cartridge. In the future, the user has the right to choose between replaceable filter elements for various purposes: some take care of water softening, others fight excess iron or compensate for the lack of fluorine, etc.

Developed ergonomics

The jug filter funnel holds about 1.4 liters of untreated water, and the total volume of the product is 3.35 liters. The clever design makes it possible to fill the model without removing the lid. Convenience in pouring filtered water is added by the folding tip of the spout, which opens the way for the liquid under its own pressure. In order not to keep in mind the approximate time for replacing filter elements, a calendar cartridge resource indicator was put into service with the jug. It is enough to set the date of installation of the cassette on the inside of the cover in the format day / month and the indication system on the outside will show the date when the cartridge needs to be replaced. The model turned out to be practically without flaws, unless you take into account the mixing of untreated water with filtered water when the funnel is filled to the brim.
