The Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED is a superb example of the new generation of Ultrabooks, featuring a thin and stylish body, a gorgeous OLED display, and the advanced functionality you would expect to see in a modern business device. Weighing in at around 1 kg and measuring just 12 mm thick, the Zenbook S 13 OLED packs powerful hardware (Core i7 1355U, Iris G7 96EUs, 16 GB LPDDR5-5200), it can serve equally well as a lightweight and durable travel laptop and a powerful work tool.
Durable shockproof housing
The lightweight nature of the laptop does not compromise its robustness: the chassis is made of solid aluminum and is assembled with high quality, its impact resistance is confirmed by the military MIL-STD-810 certification. In addition, the almost frameless 13.3-inch display, which barely protrudes beyond the chassis, also has a positive effect on the size of the device. This OLED display supports HDR10 with Dolby Vision and is Pantone certified, providing stunning image quality. Although IPS screens have been good for years, OLED is on a whole other level that you have to see for yourself.
Modern equipment
Otherwise, the Zenbook S 13 maintains the traditions of the latest Zenbook models, and its list of advantages includes a Wi-Fi 6 module, USB-C ports with fast charging and Thunderbolt 3 support, a Full HD webcam, data protection using Face ID, built-in speakers from Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos support and an effective cooling system that is almost silent under load. The capacious battery provides 10-14 hours of operation on a single charge. Overall, this is another very interesting new-generation ultrabook, ready to compete worthy of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (including junior versions with regular Apple M1/M2/M3/M4 chips).
