A family of high-performance gaming laptops from the renowned gaming series Asus ROG — Republic of Gamers. A distinctive feature of the models of the family was the use of high-quality 17.3-inch displays based on IPS-matrices of FullHD resolution with a high frame rate of 144 Hz. In addition, Nvidia's G-Sync adaptive sync technology is supported, ensuring exceptionally smooth and accurate rendering of fast-paced motion without artifacts and characteristic frame breaks.
Thanks to the excellent performance and such displays, Asus ROG Strix SCAR Edition GL703GS laptops are positioned as products of the upper price category, and are recommended for use in popular shooters (Counter-Strike, Overwatch, Team Fortress 2, etc.). The hardware configuration is based on the 8th generation Intel Core i5 / i7 platform, working with 16 / 32 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 discrete gaming graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory.
This bundle provides a consistently high frame rate in any current game projects of 2015-2018 at a resolution of 1920x1080 at the highest possible graphics quality settings. There is a full-fledged island keyboard with proprietary RGB backlighting and Asus Aura Sync technology. High-speed LAN and Wi-Fi adapters are provided, as well as 5 USB ports (including USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2).
