Intelligent care
The main functional differences of the model from younger representatives, such as the AL-KO Robolinho 110, include support for the function of selecting mowing start points, the presence of a rain sensor and the ability to work with two recharging bases. The first option actually allows you to divide the area into 9 zones and programme SOLO Robolinho 3100 so that the robot pays enough attention to each, starting the haircut not from the base itself, but from a given starting point.
The rain sensor will tell the mower to stop mowing and return to base to avoid cutting wet grass, which is one of the lawn care tips. The body of the device itself is protected from moisture, so the sensor can be turned off. And with the help of a second base (purchased separately), it becomes possible to expand the mowing area and/or run the robot in two areas remote from each other.
High performance and battery life
The SOLO Robolinho 3100 lawn mower received a capacious 2.9 Ah battery. It will provide up to 2 hours of continuous operation of the lawn mower and require the same amount for recharging. Thanks to this battery life, the robot will be effective on lawns up to 12 acres. If you need even more (around 2000 m²), then you should consider the older model Robolinho 4100 with a 4.4 Ah battery.
Large wheels with a deep tread will take care of the good grip of the robot with the ground and ensure its performance on slopes up to 35% (19°). The cutting system consists of double mulching knives, so the cut grass is crushed and evenly distributed over the site, which prevents the soil from drying out in the heat and serves as additional fertilizer. The cutting height is set in the range of 30 – 60 mm in 5 mm increments (7 settings). The working width is 30 cm, therefore, the device will need fewer passes than models with a narrower cutting system.
The lawn mower is easy to operate, not too noisy (up to 65 dB: you can’t hear it at a distance of 7 metres), and the only negative is the lack of a boundary wire in the package: you have to buy it separately. Other than that, the SOLO Robolinho 3100 is an intelligent robot with additional features that expand the possibilities of automated lawn care.
