I don't know what people are writing about air intake, it was tested with the front panel removed and without, the difference on Ryzen 3500 and RTX 2070 Super is about 2-3 degrees, temperatures do not exceed 63 degrees. Beautiful, light, backlit Here are some complaints: - The top bulb is very bright - The LED lighting is of poor quality if viewed up close, but otherwise quite decent - It's very noisy, really, I'm not sure, maybe it's just the included fan, I'll try disconnecting it today, there are filters everywhere, which means everything is open, and sound escapes from every gap. The build is quite powerful and games run on ultra settings, but keep in mind that the fans are under load. It's better to buy a case where everything is closed. Aerocool's Cyklon is a small piece of art that looks much more expensive than its real price. The front panel of the case is plastic, it consists of two triangular volumetric parts, diagonally separated by a transparent plastic insert, under which the LED strip is hidden. The left side panel is made of clear acrylic and is light and quite thin at 4mm. Despite its thickness, the panel behaves very well in operation, and if it is treated with a minimum of frugality, cracks can be avoided for many years. The only drawback of the acrylic insert is its unhealthy love of dust.
13 backlight modes
The backlight of the case can work in 13 modes: seven monotone (red, green, blue, yellow, white, purple and cyan) and six preset programs: a long colour-changing wave, a wave with a set of pale colours, an RGB wave and rain modes (you can choose the direction, either from bottom to top, or vice versa) and “breathing”. The system remembers the last selected backlight mode and displays it when the PC is turned on.
Ease of use
Aerocool Cyklon is made in the Midi Tower form factor, its interior space is divided by an L-shaped cover. Under the lid there is a standard connector for the power supply and a pocket for drives, in which you can put two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch devices. The case supports ATX, Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 371mm in length. In other words, almost any gaming hardware will easily fit here, and there will still be room for a stash.
Support for any cooling systems
The case is cooled by seven 120 mm fans. It is also possible to install liquid cooling with a 120 mm radiator. Plus, the filters are easy to remove and clean. One is located under the power supply, and the other is magnetic — on the top of the case near the navigation panel.
Despite the fact that Aerocool Cyklon is made of rather thin materials, with proper care it can last a very long time, and its elegant design in a pack with LED lights deserves the highest praise.
