A fast-responsive wired gaming keyboard with a unique exterior design, ANSI layout, durable Alpha Optical linear switches, sound insulation, sturdy plastic case, LED backlighting, and multi-key combination registration feature N-key roll over with AntiGhosting to prevent false inputs. This model features 98 keys, known as the 1800-compact or 98% format. This design retains the Numpad but reduces the distance between the main keys and the numeric block by removing the standard "island" above the arrows, allowing for a decreased overall width, providing more workspace for mouse maneuvers.

Also noteworthy is the high polling rate of up to 1000 Hz and built-in memory for storing custom macros. The A4Tech Bloody AT98 Proxy Boom keyboard is equipped with classic-style keys with high travel and an improved sloped design to reduce the likelihood of accidental pressing. The keycaps, made from PBT plastic using a double casting method, are highly durable and resistant to wear. Inside the case, there is a multi-layer sound absorption system that reduces the case resonance and makes the keystroke sound softer and more consistent. On the backside, there are two-stage folding legs allowing for three chassis tilt levels: 3, 8, or 12°.
