One of the most affordable models of dual-band wireless routers (routers) of the AC1200 class with support for Wi-Fi 5 networks and MU-MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transfer technology. It is positioned as a product of the basic price category of the sample of 2020, designed to organize a full-featured wireless and/or cable network in a city apartment, a detached house or a small office (up to two stationary PCs).
For organizing an incoming connection to the provider's network, a Fast Ethernet WAN port with a bandwidth of up to 100 Mbps is provided. As a hardware basis for the Mercusys AC10 router, a combination of a performant chipset with a powerful radio module and four external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi is used. This configuration provides impressively high theoretical wireless speeds (867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band).
It should be noted that the real speed of Internet connections will be limited by the capabilities of the WAN port at the level of 100 Mbps. The router provides comfortable surfing, easily handles routing high-quality FullHD IPTV broadcasts, cloud services, gaming, VPN traffic and heavy load created by clients of peer-to-peer file-sharing networks. Supports firewall functions, NAT, can work as a DHCP server, act as a repeater.

I bought a router for my parents in a small house, at a rate of 100 Mbps. In general, the impression of the model is twofold, on the one hand, it pulls out all the declared speeds without problems, at 5 GHz the speed is 99 Mbps, and what is most interesting, at 2.4 GHz the speed reaches 76 Mbps, measured in the same room. A very compact model, you can hang it on the wall, as I did, the ports are 100 megabits, it's clear here. In general, it doesn’t blunt, the response is normal, for all the time it has never hung up and the Internet has not fallen off. And now from the bad, sooo weak signal! Suitable only for a one-room apartment or very small houses, the signal to the next room breaks through 70%, and to the kitchen, which also has one wall, only 25% at 5 GHz, at 2.4 GHz 30-35%, and the selection of the position of the router and antennas is not especially influenced, but in general arranged this option. I spent a long time choosing a router for home, and finally settled on this one. It's working great! My provider offers a 100MB plan. Through Ethernet, the speed is 90-95, and near the router on my phone, the Wi-Fi speed is also 90-95. In the distant room, the speed is around 50. The setup isn't complicated. You can create a separate network for guests. Overall, the router is pretty good, I recommend it! The setup is not difficult.
