Cuts porcelain stoneware up to 8 mm
The device of east european production is equipped with a 600-watt asynchronous motor that accelerates the disk to 2950 rpm. The maximum possible cutting depth is 34 mm — this is not very much, but it is quite enough for cutting wall and floor tiles. It also follows from user experience that the disc is capable of sawing porcelain stoneware up to 8 mm thick. Thanks to the inclined design of the frame, it is possible to cut tiles at an angle of 90 to 45 degrees (at 45 degrees, the maximum thickness of the sawn tiles is 17 mm). However, the frame itself is small, so it will be inconvenient to cut tiles larger than 20x20 centimeters.
Curly cutting
Comes with a 180mm diamond blade with a 22.2mm bore. At first, the disk leaves chips on the material, but users advise to “drive” the nozzle on an unnecessary tile a little, and then it will stop giving flaws. Also a pleasant moment is the presence of a plastic corner stop, thanks to which you can perform curly cutting.
Inexpensive unit for east european needs
Zubr's small, compact tile cutter weighs only 7.5 kg, making it easy for one person to carry it from room to room. But it creates a decent noise — 101.5 dB, which corresponds to a very loud vacuum cleaner. Also, like the Einhell TC-TC 618, the unit does not have high legs, so for comfortable work it will need to be placed on the table. However, all these shortcomings are offset by a rather low (for electric tile cutters) price.
