Model overview based on user reviews
The Zanussi Smalto DL water heater series, including models like the ZWH/S 50, 80, and 100, offers a modern design with a bright display and electronic controls, allowing precise temperature settings. Users appreciate its compactness and energy-saving features, such as the ability to operate heating elements individually. However, there are significant concerns about reliability, with reports of tanks leaking and heating elements failing within a few years. The warranty conditions are also criticized for being restrictive, requiring paid maintenance to remain valid. Some users experienced issues with the electronics, necessitating additional protective devices against voltage fluctuations. While the product's appearance and functionality are praised, the recurring technical problems and warranty issues have led to dissatisfaction among several users.

If I was given the opportunity to change the boiler, I would take advantage of this opportunity!

I am convinced that for the amount that I paid for it, the manufacturer could take care that it was not heard during operation. For now, I will observe the operation of this unit. I'll write a new review after some time.
Great design. Bright display (now you can turn off the light in the toilet at night). Easy to manage. The heating element can be turned on individually, and this saves energy. Takes up little space.
I will be very frank! Previously, we used the usual Ariston, and so he was quiet. And this one often taps something.

I highly do not recommend it.

I do not recommend dealing with Zanussi appliances. This water heater worked for 2 years and then the heating element leaked. Fortunately, the heating element is a consumable, but after another 2 years, the tank started leaking, which should be covered under warranty, as they advertise a 7-year warranty on the tank everywhere. However, it turned out that service centers acknowledge the warranty, do not issue any paperwork, and refer to waiting for a response from Zanussi, who simply remain silent.
Appearance, digital temperature indicator.
Complex fixation of heating elements in the tank, reliability of heating elements and tank.

normal model, nothing special

The warranty card states that there is an 8-year warranty on the tank and 2 years on the electronics. This warranty is only valid if you conduct paid maintenance once a year with the specialists of this service center. I bought a water heater in 2017, and it was installed in 2018. The card has a space to mark the date of commissioning, but this should be done by their specialists. My commissioning was carried out by an external organization, so the warranty is considered from the purchase date in 2017, and since I did not conduct paid maintenance with them, I am not eligible for the warranty.

But that's not all. While reading the instructions, I came across an interesting clause - Attention! Accumulation of scale on the heating element and the presence of sediment in the tank can lead to the failure of the water heater and serve as grounds for denying warranty service.

The amount of sediment and scale on the heating element is not specified, only at the discretion of the technician.

For example, a Termex stood for 5 years without maintenance and continued to serve at the cottage.

In another apartment, there's a BOSCH that's been running for about 5 years as well, works like a charm, but Bosch and Termex have a price tag that's half as much.
