Model overview based on user reviews
The Yamaha YSP-2700 soundbar is praised for its high-quality assembly and wide functionality, making it an excellent choice for creating a mini home cinema without extensive wiring. Users appreciate its compact design and the ability to deliver rich, surround sound, especially in rooms around 26 square meters. The soundbar offers features like full 4K support, network capabilities such as internet radio and AirPlay, and smartphone control. While some users noted the absence of an HDMI cable and suspension bracket, requiring additional purchases, the overall satisfaction with the sound quality and functionality is high. The YSP-2700 is considered superior to previous models like the YSP 2500 and 4300, particularly in terms of bass depth and sound effects, making it a top choice for both movies and music.
Pros
Cons
For a long time I wanted to replace the old receiver with speakers with something more compact, I read the reviews, there were most good reviews for Yamahas, I decided to buy the top model ysp 5600, but it turned out to be too big in size and the subwoofer for it needs to be purchased separately, in the end I bought YSP 2700 - at the moment I understand that for a room of 26 meters this is an ideal option. I tinkered with the auto-calibration settings for quite a long time - I did it three times, installing the microphone in different places, the effect of moving the microphone always ended up being different (my sofa is placed in a non-standard way not in the middle, but in the corner of the room, and the TV with a soundbar is in the center in front), after each calibration experimented with watching excerpts from films (I downloaded specially Marvel action films, took the same scene, in the end I achieved surround sound, when sitting on the sofa I hear the film, as if I were sitting in a full-fledged cinema, at this time I've been using it for about a month now - I'm very pleased with the sound. The Yamaha is connected to a 55-inch Sony TV, without a soundbar the TV sound seems very poor. high-quality assembly - very wide functionality - with minimal dimensions and without laying wires you can make a mini cinema at home no hdmi cable included, no suspension bracket included - everything had to be purchased separately - and that’s another 5,000 rubles on top |
Absolutely disagree that the YSP 2700 sounds worse than the YSP 2500 and 4300, because: I had the YSP 2500 before purchasing the YSP 2700, and the subwoofer there was flat, and the bass wasn't as deep as in the 2700. With proper microphone setup, the sound volume and effects sensation (explosions, airplane flyovers, even forest noise) – the YSP 2700 handles much better. Additionally, the 2700 included features that were missing in the 2500, like network perks such as internet radio, AirPlay (I tried both Wi-Fi and wired connections – it works perfectly), MusicCast, and so on, plus full 4K support and smartphone control. As for the YSP 4300, I can compare since my brother has it, and I must say, I like the sound of the YSP 2700 much more. Especially when listening to music – the YSP 2700 clearly outperforms the 4300. I also have a Samsung soundbar in my collection – now that's a piece of junk compared to Yamaha. Excellent bar, the sound is very rich, functionality is 10 out of 10. Over a year of use, I have not noticed. |
